Terms of Service

Effective date: February 21, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bridal Lock mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using Bridal Lock, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About Bridal Lock

Bridal Lock is an iPhone app designed to help reduce wedding-planning overwhelm by supporting focus and limiting distractions during a user-selected planning window using Apple's Screen Time-related features.

Bridal Lock is intended as a productivity and wellness-support tool only. It is not medical, mental health, or counseling advice.

2. Eligibility

You may use Bridal Lock only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Use of the Service

You may use Bridal Lock only for its intended purpose.

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or security
  • attempt to reverse engineer, modify, exploit, bypass, or tamper with the app
  • use the Service in a way that violates the rights of others

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service if we believe you are violating these Terms or misusing the app.

4. No Account Required

Bridal Lock does not currently require you to create an account to use the core app. App settings and related configuration are generally stored locally on your device.

5. Apple Screen Time Features

Bridal Lock relies on Apple-provided frameworks and permissions to support app blocking and focus-window functionality. Some features may require you to grant permissions through Apple's system interfaces.

We do not guarantee that app blocking, focus enforcement, or interruption features will work in every situation, on every device, or without interruption. Availability and behavior may depend on your device, iOS version, Apple permissions, and system behavior.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Bridal Lock may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase.

Pricing, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies and terms. Apple states that paid apps and in-app purchases are governed through the relevant Apple developer and App Store agreements, and the app license itself is governed either by Apple's Standard EULA or a custom EULA if provided.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings on your device.

We do not directly collect or process your payment card information.

7. Third-Party Services

Bridal Lock may rely on third-party services to operate certain features, including:

  • Apple, for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and Screen Time-related permissions and functionality
  • RevenueCat, for subscription status, entitlement management, and purchase-related functionality

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those third parties' terms and privacy practices.

8. Intellectual Property

Bridal Lock, including its app design, text, graphics, branding, software, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You are granted only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Service will always be available or error-free
  • app blocking will prevent all distractions
  • the Service will be compatible with every device or iOS version
  • the Service will meet your specific needs or expectations

Apple's Standard EULA uses similar “as is” language and states that licensed applications are provided without warranty to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bridal Lock and its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for Bridal Lock in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Apple's Standard EULA likewise limits liability for indirect and consequential damages and caps certain liability.

11. Termination

You may stop using Bridal Lock at any time by deleting the app and canceling any subscription through Apple.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if required by law, if a third-party platform disables required functionality, or if you violate these Terms.

12. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Bridal Lock at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version and revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept them.
